3月5日，第十三屆全國人民代表大會(huì )第五次會(huì )議開(kāi)幕，國務(wù)院總理李克強向大會(huì )作政府工作報告。李克強在政府工作報告中提出了今年發(fā)展主要預期目標，其中包括國內生產(chǎn)總值增長(cháng)5.5%左右，城鎮新增就業(yè)1100萬(wàn)人以上，糧食產(chǎn)量保持在1.3萬(wàn)億斤以上等。

China has set its economic growth target at around 5.5 percent in 2022.The GDPtarget is one of the key development goals laid out in a government work report delivered by Premier LiKeqiangto the national legislature, which began its annual session on Saturday.The other main projected targets for development this year include creating over 11 million new urban jobsandkeeping grain output of over 650 milliontonnes.

經(jīng)濟增速預期目標的設定，主要考慮穩就業(yè)保民生防風(fēng)險的需要，并同近兩年平均經(jīng)濟增速以及“十四五”規劃目標要求相銜接。這是高基數上的中高速增長(cháng)，體現了主動(dòng)作為，需要付出艱苦努力才能實(shí)現。

Guided by our philosophy that clean waters and green mountains are just as valuable as gold and silver, China has carried out holistic conservation and systematic governance of its mountains, rivers, forests, farmlands, lakes, grasslands and deserts.
