Woolen bouquets will replace the traditional fresh flowers that are presented to award winners at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics, according to a recent announcement by the event organizer. Woolen bouquets will never wither and have the characteristic of low-carbon, which reflects the concept of a “green, inclusive, open and clean Olympics”.

本次北京冬奧會(huì )頒獎花束的花材共有七類(lèi)，包括：象征友誼的玫瑰，象征堅韌的月季，象征幸福的鈴蘭、象征團結的繡球、象征勝利的月桂、象征收獲的桂花、象征和平的橄欖。而冬殘奧會(huì )頒獎花束中，在冬奧會(huì )頒獎花束的基礎上增加了一枝藍色波斯菊，象征堅強。

The Olympic bouquet consists of seven different wool flowers including the rose stands for friendship, the Chinese rose for perseverance, the lily of the valley for happiness, the hydrangea for unity, the laurel for victory, the sweet osmanthus for harvest, and the olive for peace. Of the ribbon of Paralympic Winter Games, a blue coreopsis is added to the bouquets, which symbolizes strength.  

絨線(xiàn)花束一方面不像鮮切花束需要從南方種植基地調運鮮花，大大降低了運輸和管理費用，另一方面也方便運動(dòng)員攜帶返回、長(cháng)久保存。每一份頒獎花束除了“永不凋零”，還是“獨一無(wú)二”的。

北京冬奧會(huì )和冬殘奧會(huì )頒獎將使用花束1251束，累計花材共16731枝。每枝花材上有葉有花，采用融合中外絨線(xiàn)編結手法的“海派絨線(xiàn)編結技藝”，均為純手工制作。以一枝玫瑰花為例，編結一片花瓣需要20分鐘，而整枝玫瑰要由十片花瓣組成，加上三片葉子和花莖，一位編結師至少要耗費五小時(shí)。

北京冬奧組委表示，賽會(huì )期間將開(kāi)辟專(zhuān)門(mén)區域，采用實(shí)物、視頻等方式展示絨線(xiàn)花束、絨線(xiàn)編結技藝和它們背后的故事，讓世界各地嘉賓近距離觀(guān)賞、了解。
