首屆大國工匠創(chuàng )新交流大會(huì )4月27日在京開(kāi)幕。中共中央總書(shū)記、國家主席、中央軍委主席習近平發(fā)來(lái)賀信, 向大會(huì )的舉辦表示熱烈的祝賀，并在“五一”國際勞動(dòng)節到來(lái)之際，代表黨中央向廣大技能人才和勞動(dòng)模范致以誠摯的問(wèn)候，向廣大勞動(dòng)群眾致以節日的祝賀。習近平在賀信中強調，技術(shù)工人隊伍是支撐中國制造、中國創(chuàng )造的重要力量。

President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the First Innovation Exchange Conference for Craftsmen of the Nation, which opened in Beijing on April 27. Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, stressed that skilled workers are a significant force to shore up China's manufacturing and innovation. On behalf of the CPC Central Committee, Xi extended sincere greetings to skilled workers, model workers and general workers ahead of the International Labor Day.

技能人才特別是高技能人才是工人階級隊伍中的優(yōu)秀代表，是我國人才隊伍的重要組成部分，是支撐中國制造和中國創(chuàng )造的重要力量。黨的十八大以來(lái)，黨中央、國務(wù)院高度重視技能人才工作。習近平總書(shū)記多次作出重要指示批示，要求健全技能人才培養、使用、評價(jià)、激勵制度，大力發(fā)展技工教育，大規模開(kāi)展職業(yè)技能培訓，加快培養大批高素質(zhì)勞動(dòng)者和技術(shù)技能人才。

截至2021年底，全國技能人才總量超過(guò)2億人，高技能人才超過(guò)6000萬(wàn)人，技能人才占就業(yè)人員總量的比例超過(guò)26%，高技能人才占技能人才的比例達到30%。他們活躍在工廠(chǎng)車(chē)間、田間地頭和技術(shù)攻關(guān)一線(xiàn)，成為引領(lǐng)新經(jīng)濟、培育新動(dòng)能的重要力量，推動(dòng)著(zhù)產(chǎn)業(yè)強起來(lái)、鄉村富起來(lái)、生態(tài)美起來(lái)。一支新時(shí)代技能人才大軍，正向著(zhù)全面建設社會(huì )主義現代化強國奮進(jìn)。

我國工人階級和廣大勞動(dòng)群眾要大力弘揚勞模精神、勞動(dòng)精神、工匠精神，適應當今世界科技革命和產(chǎn)業(yè)變革的需要，勤學(xué)苦練、深入鉆研，勇于創(chuàng )新、敢為人先，不斷提高技術(shù)技能水平，為推動(dòng)高質(zhì)量發(fā)展、實(shí)施制造強國戰略、全面建設社會(huì )主義現代化國家貢獻智慧和力量。

The working class and other working people in China should carry forward the spirit of model workers, hard work and craftsmanship and adapt themselves to the requirements of the current global revolution in science and technology and industrial transformation. With diligence, dedication, innovation and initiative, they must keep honing their skills and contribute their wisdom and strength to promoting high-quality development, making China strong in manufacturing, and building a modern socialist country in all respects.
