中共中央總書(shū)記、國家主席、中央軍委主席習近平7月28日在亞洲基礎設施投資銀行第五屆理事會(huì )年會(huì )視頻會(huì )議開(kāi)幕式上致辭。習近平指出，亞投行應該成為促進(jìn)成員共同發(fā)展、推動(dòng)構建人類(lèi)命運共同體的新平臺。

President Xi Jinping called for making the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) a new platform that promotes development for all its members and facilitates the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks on July 28 when addressing via video link the opening ceremony of the fifth annual meeting of the AIIB.

習近平指出，要把亞投行打造成推動(dòng)全球共同發(fā)展的新型多邊開(kāi)發(fā)銀行、與時(shí)俱進(jìn)的新型發(fā)展實(shí)踐平臺、高標準的新型國際合作機構和國際多邊合作新典范。

He called for efforts to make the AIIB a new type of multilateral development bank that promotes development across the world, a new type of development platform progressing with the times, a new type of high-performance institution for international cooperation and a new paradigm of multilateral cooperation.

在亞投行第五屆理事會(huì )年會(huì )視頻會(huì )議開(kāi)幕式上，習近平在致辭中指出，4年多來(lái)，亞投行按照多邊開(kāi)發(fā)銀行模式和原則運作，堅持國際性、規范性、高標準，實(shí)現良好開(kāi)局。從最初57個(gè)創(chuàng )始成員攜手起航，發(fā)展到今天的來(lái)自亞洲、歐洲、非洲、北美洲、南美洲、大洋洲等六大洲的102個(gè)成員齊聚一堂，亞投行不斷發(fā)展壯大，已經(jīng)為成員提供了近200億美元的基礎設施投資。亞投行朋友圈越來(lái)越大、好伙伴越來(lái)越多、合作質(zhì)量越來(lái)越高，在國際上展示了專(zhuān)業(yè)、高效、廉潔的新型多邊開(kāi)發(fā)銀行的嶄新形象。中國將始終支持和踐行多邊主義，以開(kāi)放、合作、共贏(yíng)精神繼續同各成員一道支持和辦好亞投行，為國際社會(huì )應對風(fēng)險挑戰、實(shí)現共同發(fā)展作出更大貢獻。

The global response to COVID-19 has made it clear that mankind rise and fall together in a community with a shared future. Mutual support and cooperation in solidarity are the only way for mankind to overcome crises. To address issues emerging in the course of economic globalization, countries should pursue more inclusive global governance, more effective multilateral institutions, and more robust regional cooperation. In this context, the AIIB may grow into a new platform that promotes development for all its members and facilitates the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
