中共中央總書(shū)記、國家主席、中央軍委主席習近平近日在吉林考察時(shí)強調，堅持新發(fā)展理念，深入實(shí)施東北振興戰略，決勝全面建成小康社會(huì )、決戰脫貧攻堅。

President Xi Jinping has stressed sticking to China's new development philosophy and further implementing the strategy of revitalizing northeast China. Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks during an inspection tour in northeast China's Jilin province. He urged efforts to ensure a decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and eradicating poverty.

2016年，《中共中央國務(wù)院關(guān)于全面振興東北地區等老工業(yè)基地的若干意見(jiàn)》對外發(fā)布。實(shí)施東北地區等老工業(yè)基地振興戰略，是黨中央、國務(wù)院在新世紀作出的重大決策。當前和今后一個(gè)時(shí)期是推進(jìn)老工業(yè)基地全面振興的關(guān)鍵時(shí)期。
