3月12日是我國第44個(gè)植樹(shù)節。從1982年植樹(shù)節開(kāi)始至2021年，中國適齡公民參加義務(wù)植樹(shù)累計植樹(shù)781億株（含折算）。據官方數據顯示，近20年我國新增植被覆蓋面積約占全球新增總量的25%，居世界首位。

China observes its 44th National Tree Planting Day on March 12. Chinese citizens voluntarily planted approximately 78.1 billion trees from 1982 to 2021 across the vast country. Over the past two decades, China's newly added vegetation reached about one quarter of the global total increase, ranking first worldwide, official data showed.

【知識點(diǎn)】

1979年2月，第五屆全國人大常委會(huì )第六次會(huì )議決定，每年3月12日為我國的植樹(shù)節。1981年12月13日，第五屆全國人民代表大會(huì )第四次會(huì )議通過(guò)了《關(guān)于開(kāi)展全民義務(wù)植樹(shù)運動(dòng)的決議》，使植樹(shù)造林、綠化祖國成為每一位適齡公民的法定義務(wù)。2020年7月1日起，新修訂的《中華人民共和國森林法》正式實(shí)施，明確每年3月12日為植樹(shù)節。

黨的十八大以來(lái)，我國進(jìn)入植樹(shù)造林的快速發(fā)展期，城鄉生態(tài)面貌得到改變，生態(tài)福祉不斷增強，廣大城鄉居民從中受益。根據全國綠化委員會(huì )辦公室3月11日公布的2021年中國國土綠化狀況公報，2021年，全國完成造林5400萬(wàn)畝，首次實(shí)行造林任務(wù)直達到縣、落地上圖，造林完成上圖率達91.8%。今年全國計劃造林5006萬(wàn)畝。為完成今年的造林任務(wù)，國家林草局要求各地要因地制宜、分區施策，其中，華北、西北、西南地區是人工造林的重點(diǎn)區域。
