6月30日，聯(lián)合國大會(huì )召開(kāi)消除貧困高級別視頻會(huì )議，主題為“全球消除貧困的趨勢、選擇和戰略”。這標志著(zhù)聯(lián)合國“消除貧困聯(lián)盟”正式啟動(dòng)。

The UN General Assembly virtual high-level meeting on poverty eradication on the theme "Trends, options and strategies in poverty eradication across the world" was held on June 30. The event marked the formal inauguration of the Alliance for Poverty Eradication.

第74屆聯(lián)合國大會(huì )主席蒂賈尼·穆罕默德-班迪6月30日召開(kāi)視頻會(huì )議，啟動(dòng)“消除貧困聯(lián)盟”。中國作為創(chuàng )始成員參加該聯(lián)盟。

消除一切形式的貧困是聯(lián)合國2030年可持續發(fā)展議程17個(gè)目標中的首個(gè)目標，其中提到，確保從各種來(lái)源，包括通過(guò)加強發(fā)展合作充分調集資源，為發(fā)展中國家、特別是最不發(fā)達國家提供充足、可預見(jiàn)的手段以執行相關(guān)計劃和政策，消除一切形式的貧困。

在聯(lián)合國成立75周年和進(jìn)入“可持續發(fā)展目標行動(dòng)十年”之際，新冠肺炎疫情暴發(fā)給消除貧困帶來(lái)新的嚴峻挑戰，各方應以成立“消除貧困聯(lián)盟”為契機，采取共同行動(dòng)，推進(jìn)全球減貧事業(yè)。

目前，巴基斯坦、印度、孟加拉國、南非、埃及、摩洛哥、埃塞俄比亞、墨西哥、智利、挪威和土耳其等30多個(gè)國家也已參加該聯(lián)盟。

亞洲各國人民希望遠離貧困、富足安康，希望各國合力推進(jìn)開(kāi)放、包容、普惠、平衡、共贏(yíng)的經(jīng)濟全球化，共同消除一些國家民眾依然面臨的貧窮落后，共同為孩子們創(chuàng )造衣食無(wú)憂(yōu)的生活，讓幸福和歡樂(lè )走進(jìn)每一個(gè)家庭。

We Asian people long for decent lives free of poverty. We hope that countries will work together to promote economic globalization and make it more open, inclusive, balanced and beneficial to all. Doing so will enable us to eradicate poverty and backwardness that still plague people in some countries. It will make life carefree for our children and bring happiness to all families.
