壯觀(guān)! 加拿大小鎮迎來(lái)今春第一座大冰山!

Nature photographers have flocked to a small town in Eastern Canada after a huge iceberg drifted just off the coast.

日前，在一座巨大的冰山飄移至加拿大東部一個(gè)小鎮的海岸之后，采風(fēng)攝影師們蜂擁而至。

The towering iceberg floated into waters just next to Ferryland, Newfoundland, causing bumper-to-bumper traffic as tourists try to get a glimpse of it.

這座高聳的冰山就漂浮在紐芬蘭費里蘭附近的海域，大批游客慕名前來(lái)只為目睹它的風(fēng)采，導致交通一度堵塞。

The area is known as "iceberg alley" due to the arctic blocks that float down every spring.

由于北極的冰塊每年春天都會(huì )漂過(guò)來(lái)，所以這個(gè)地方也因此得名“冰山巷”。

This particularly huge one is expected to linger off the coast for some time because it looks grounded, Ferryland Mayor Adrian Kavanagh told CTV.

費里蘭鎮長(cháng)阿德里安·卡瓦納在接受加拿大電視臺采訪(fǎng)時(shí)表示，這座特別巨大的冰山有望在此逗留一段時(shí)間，因為它看起來(lái)好像“擱淺”了。

"It's a huge iceberg and it's in so close that people can get a good photograph of it," he said. "It's the biggest one I ever seen around here."

他說(shuō)道：“這座冰山如此巨大又靠近小鎮，游人這次可以盡情地拍照了。這是我在這里見(jiàn)過(guò)的最大的冰山?！?/font>

Canadian press reported that there had already been more icebergs than normal – with 616 already having moved into the North Atlantic shipping lanes compared to 687 by the late-September season's end last year.

加拿大通訊社報道稱(chēng)，今年的冰山較以往有了明顯的增加--目前為止已有616座冰山進(jìn)入了北大西洋航道。要知道，去年九月底冰山季結束時(shí)總共才有687座冰山。

Experts said it could be because of uncommonly strong winds and possibly global warming.

專(zhuān)家認為，這可能是由于罕見(jiàn)的強風(fēng)而造成的，并與全球變暖有關(guān)。
