驚呆：美著(zhù)名出版社撤回107篇造假論文，全部系中國學(xué)者之手！
Tumor Biology, a Springer journal, retracted 107 articles in a single notice Thursday. 斯普林格出版社旗下的期刊《腫瘤生物學(xué)》在周四的一則通知中宣布撤回107篇論文。 The supposedly peer-reviewed papers did not appropriately go through the peer-review process, the publisher and editor of the paper writes in a terse note accompanying the list of discredited studies. 論文出版社、編輯用簡(jiǎn)潔的口吻寫(xiě)道，本應經(jīng)過(guò)同行評審的論文沒(méi)有正規地完成這一流程，隨附還有疑似論文的名單。 “After a thorough investigation we have strong reason to believe that the peer review process was compromised,” they write. 他們寫(xiě)道：“在全面調查后，我們有足夠的理由相信同行評審是編造的?！?/font> The papers are predominantly authored by scientists from China, and were published from 2012 up until last year. 這些論文的作者主要是來(lái)自中國的科學(xué)家，發(fā)表時(shí)間為2012年至去年。 The subjects span from the impacts of smoking on cancer, to gene-specific effects on tumors. One of Springer’s editorial directors told the Chinese media outlet that the studies had been submitted with suggestions from reviewers with real names – but with fabricated email addresses. Follow-up determined that the real scientists were never contacted to review their peers’ work, according to the report. 《第六聲》網(wǎng)站首先報道了此次大規模撤回事件。斯普林格出版社的一名編輯主任向中國的媒體表示，這些論文提交時(shí)附有實(shí)名評審員的意見(jiàn)，但是郵箱是捏造的。據報道，后文斷定真正的科學(xué)家從未被聯(lián)系來(lái)評論他們同行的作品。 Springer is not the first major publisher to discover widespread peer review problems prompting mass retractions. BioMed Central retracted 43 papers in one action in November 2014, and Hindawi Publishing Corporation announced in 2015 that three editors had “subverted” the entire editorial process in publishing 32 papers. 斯普林格并非是首家發(fā)現大量同行評審問(wèn)題、發(fā)起大規模撤回的重要出版社。2014年11月，BioMed Central曾一次性撤回過(guò)43篇論文，Hindawi出版社于2015年宣布，三名編輯“破壞了”32篇論文發(fā)布的整個(gè)編輯過(guò)程。 |
