在wish, if, if only, would rather的后面，過(guò)去完成時(shí)表示實(shí)際沒(méi)有發(fā)生的過(guò)去動(dòng)作或事情。

1. I wish I had bought that home video camera.

我真想買(mǎi)了那臺家庭用錄像機。

2. I wish I had said that I couldn’t come.

當時(shí)我要是說(shuō)我不能來(lái)就好了。

3. If Bernard had come, everything would have been all right.

伯納德要是了的話(huà)，本來(lái)是可以萬(wàn)事大吉的。

4. If I had been warned!

如果當時(shí)有人提醒我就好了！

5. If I had gone to university I would have studied medicine.

如果我能上大學(xué)，我會(huì )學(xué)醫。

6. I would rather you had told her the truth.

7. If only he’d remembered to buy some fruit.
