Chinese President Xi Jinping received the credentials of 11 new ambassadors to China at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing Wednesday.

本周三，中國國家主席習近平在北京人民大會(huì )堂接受11國新任駐華大使遞交國書(shū)。

The ambassadors are Leonidas Rokanas from Greece, Karran Bayney Ram from Guyana, Rudy Kiryl from Belarus, Dembo M. Badjie from Gambia, Marten Kokk from Estonia, Oscar Rueda Garcia from Colombia, Aires Ali from Mozambique, Damba Gankhuyag from Mongolia, Anna Lindstedt from Sweden, Marcos Caramuru de Paiva from Brazil, and Anton Rill from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

新任駐華大使包括來(lái)自希臘的利奧尼達斯·羅卡納斯、來(lái)自圭亞那的卡倫·拜耶·拉姆、來(lái)自白俄羅斯的魯迪·奇利亞、來(lái)自岡比亞的登博·M·巴迪吉、來(lái)自愛(ài)沙尼亞的馬滕·克羅克、來(lái)自哥倫比亞的奧斯卡·魯埃達·加西亞、來(lái)自莫桑比克的艾雷斯·阿里、來(lái)自蒙古的丹巴·格、來(lái)自瑞典的安娜·林德施泰特、來(lái)自巴西的馬可仕·卡拉穆魯·派瓦、以及來(lái)自波黑的安東·里爾。

Xi welcomed the ambassadors to China and asked them to convey his sincere greetings and good wishes to the leaders and people of their countries.

習近平對駐華大使們表示了歡迎，并且要求他們轉達自己對各國領(lǐng)導人和人民的誠摯問(wèn)候和美好祝愿。

The Chinese government will provide convenience and support for the work of the ambassadors and hopes that they will actively contribute to bilateral relations and cooperation in various areas between China and the relevant countries, Xi said.

習近平指出，中國政府將對大使們的工作提供便利和支持，并且希望他們積極促進(jìn)中國和相關(guān)國家的雙邊關(guān)系、以及在各領(lǐng)域內的合作。

Xi said China attaches great importance to developing relations with the countries, and that China will enhance friendship and mutual trust, and deepen pragmatic cooperation with them for the benefits of the peoples of China and these countries.

習近平表示，中國高度重視發(fā)展和上述國家的關(guān)系，為了中國以及上訴各國的人民的利益，中國將和各國增進(jìn)友誼和互信、深化和各國的務(wù)實(shí)合作。

The ambassadors conveyed their state leaders’ greetings to Xi and expressed good wishes to the Chinese people for the Mid-Autumn Festival.

大使們向習近平主席轉達了各國領(lǐng)導人的問(wèn)候，并且向中國人民送上了對中秋節的美好祝愿。

China was also congratulated for successfully hosting the G20 summit in Hangzhou, and the ambassadors said that their countries will pay significant attention to developing relations with China.

大使們還就中國成功舉辦杭州G20峰會(huì )表示了祝賀，并說(shuō)他們的國家將會(huì )密切關(guān)注和中國發(fā)展關(guān)系。

They said they feel greatly honored to serve as ambassadors to China, and will devote their best efforts to promoting mutually beneficial cooperation between their countries and China, as well as deepening mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples.
