保監會(huì )主席項俊波涉嚴重違紀被查

Xiang Junbo, chairman of the China Insurance Regulatory Commission, is under investigation by China's top anti-graft authority.

中國保險監督管理委員會(huì )主席項俊波目前正接受我國最高反腐機構的審查。

The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China said last Sunday in an online statement that Xiang was being investigated for suspected serious violation of the Party's code of conduct.

中共中央紀律檢查委員會(huì )上周日在網(wǎng)上發(fā)布聲明稱(chēng)，項俊波因涉嫌嚴重違反黨的行為準則而接受審查。

Mr. Xiang oversaw an industry that has gone from a cash-rich but sleepy backwater to a major player on the global deal-making scene in recent years.

項俊波現年60歲，2011年起任保監會(huì )主席、兼任央行貨幣政策委員會(huì )委員。

Separately on Sunday, the top anti-graft authority also announced the investigation of Li Changjun, former Party chief and president of the Beijing Branch of the Export-Import Bank of China, for suspected serious violation of the Party's code of conduct.

中紀委同日還宣布，中國進(jìn)出口銀行北京分行原黨委書(shū)記、行長(cháng)李昌軍涉嫌嚴重違紀，目前正接受組織審查。
