漢語(yǔ)首次成為意大利高中畢業(yè)考試科目

Chinese has been added to the graduation exam list by an Italian high school and 29 students will take the test this year, the Guangming Daily reports quoting Italian local media.

《光明日報》援引意大利當地媒體的報道稱(chēng)，意大利一所高中已經(jīng)將漢語(yǔ)列入了畢業(yè)考試之中，29名學(xué)生將會(huì )參加今年的考試。

Sophie Scholl, a high school specializing in linguistics, in Trento, northeastern Italy, has become the first school in the country to list Chinese as a graduation exam subject.

意大利東北部特蘭托一所名叫索菲紹爾的語(yǔ)言類(lèi)高中，成為了意大利首所將漢語(yǔ)列入畢業(yè)考試科目的學(xué)校。

The Chinese course has been running at the Italian school for five years, and 145 of its 910 students have chosen to study the language.

這所意大利學(xué)校開(kāi)辦漢語(yǔ)課程已經(jīng)有五年的時(shí)間了，在該校910名學(xué)生中，有145名學(xué)生選擇了學(xué)習漢語(yǔ)。

Maria Silva Boccardi, director of the school, said Chinese will become a global language in the future and they set up the course because many students had asked for it.

該校的主任瑪麗亞·希爾瓦·博卡迪表示，漢語(yǔ)未來(lái)會(huì )成為一種全球語(yǔ)言，他們開(kāi)設漢語(yǔ)課程的原因是很多學(xué)生曾提出過(guò)要求。

"There were only a few schools (in Italy) who provided trial Chinese courses back then, but now, Chinese courses have become a crucial part of our overall teaching plan and we are welcoming our pioneer batch of graduates this year," she said.

她說(shuō)：“那時(shí)意大利只有幾所學(xué)校提供試行的漢語(yǔ)課程，但是現在漢語(yǔ)課程已經(jīng)成為了我們整體教學(xué)計劃的關(guān)鍵部分，我們今年將迎來(lái)首批畢業(yè)生?！?/font>

Roberto, a Sophie Scholl student who is going to take the Chinese test before graduation, said writing Chinese characters is the most difficult aspect of learning the language.

羅伯托--索菲紹爾高中一名將要在畢業(yè)前參加漢語(yǔ)考試的學(xué)生說(shuō)道，漢字是學(xué)習漢語(yǔ)最困難的方面。

"Although learning Chinese is difficult for Italian students, when considering looking for better job opportunities overseas, China would definitely be my top choice," he said.

他說(shuō)：“雖然對于意大利學(xué)生而言，學(xué)習漢語(yǔ)很困難，但是當考慮到在海外找到更好的工作機會(huì )，中國絕對是我的首選?！?/font>
